Dr. Herskovits graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1981 with a desire to help people achieve healthy and beautiful smiles.
Over the last 40 years, Dr. Herskovits has continued his passion and
dedication to helping the diverse population of Brooklyn, NY. It
doesn’t stop at the borders of Brooklyn. Dr. H, as he is referred to
around the office, treats patients from across the United States and
internationally. He takes pride in being able to help anyone in any
way he can.
Dr. H has taught clinical and pre-clinical classes at NYU College of
Dentistry and has become known internationally for treating bad
breath. In fact, watch his video where he was featured with Kathie Lee
Gifford and Hoda Kotb on NBC’s Today Show
Dr. Herskovits has appeared on many national and local news broadcasts such as CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX Channel 5 News, WOR Channel 9, Good Day New York, New York 1, and local and national cable networks. He has been a guest speaker on the Dentistry Today show and MDTV discussing fresh breath, advances in cosmetic dentistry and implants, as well as the latest treatments in all aspects of dentistry. He has been a guest on many radio programs across the USA and was quoted in Extraordinary Togetherness, published by Rodale Press.
Dr. Herskovits’ true dedication to improving lives has motivated his children, Amy and Adam, to become dentists and carry on the mission of Brooklyn Smile.
Dr. Amy Herskovits received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2015. After graduation, she completed a general practice residency at New York Presbyterian Methodist Hospital of Brooklyn before beginning her career in private practice. She continues to educate herself on the latest materials and techniques so that she can provide the best care for her patients.
Dr. Amy, as she is known around the office, takes pride in helping her patients, no matter their age, overcome their fear of the dentist. Dr. Amy has experience treating children and makes the visit to the dentist fun.
Her number one goal is to make her patients feel comfortable in the dental setting.
Dr. Amy devotes each appointment to listening to her patients’ needs and delivering the care they deserve. She takes the time to educate her patients as she knows that understanding is the key to patient compliance.
