Education and General Practice Residency
Dr. Adam was born and raised in New York City. He earned both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science from Brooklyn College before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the New York University College of Dentistry.
Following dental school, Dr. Adam completed a general practice residency at Woodhull Medical Center, now known as NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull. During this hospital-based residency, he gained additional experience in comprehensive dentistry and developed a strong interest in implant treatment.
Advanced Fellowship Training in Implant Dentistry
To further develop his knowledge and clinical skills, Dr. Adam returned to NYU College of Dentistry to complete an advanced clinical fellowship in implant dentistry. This focused education expanded his experience in implant selection, surgical and restorative treatment planning, and the use of dental implants to replace missing teeth.
Dr. Adam’s implant training allows him to evaluate each patient’s oral health, restorative needs, and treatment goals before recommending an individualized approach. Depending on the clinical situation, implant treatment may be used to replace one tooth, several teeth, or support a more comprehensive restoration.
